Alexey Shchebet, born in 1984, is an international multidisciplinary artist. He paints with clay on wood, canvas, and clothing; does fine art photography; and creates customized fashion designs. He lives and works in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.  Inspired by nature, Alexey creates aboriginal feeling painting with clay because clay has been a human art partner for thousands of years all around the world. It reminds us of who we are and where we all came from in the modern digital world. Clay is an international language and metaphorical glue that unites all of us. It’s understandable in high-tech, loft, and plain Wabi-Sabi interiors because it's in our DNA. Alexey brings up philosophical human questions in his art. “The Artists Of Sinking Atlantis Are Saving Honey Bees For Us” is a good example of it.
